Quando nada parece chamar por nós...

Quando nada parece chamar por nós, por vezes não queremos acordar:

"Hoje não quis acordar,
Não sei porquê,
Mas não quis acordar.
Não quis mais voltar a ver
O doce brilhar do sol
Nem a ternura pálida da lua
Não quis mais sentir
As carícias do vento na face
Não quis mais ouvir
O canto dos pássaros no ar...
Queria que a vida acabasse,
Que o tempo se esquecesse de mim
Queria que hoje fosse o meu fim.
Lembrei-me de como se sofre
E hoje, não quis acordar;
Quis parar de viver,
Parar de ver o mundo sofrer
As guerras, a fome,
O desespero, as frustrações

Desire of something to happen is the happiness itself, yes, it's true. But it's not the full hapiness. Full happiness is when you want to change something and want to achieve your goal and finaly, step by step, get it. To be happy even for little success. But the point is to be happy with this what you already have!!! I know it's hard, i have problem with it as well. But I don't give up. I'm getting up with the sound of "Bright Side Of Life" from "Brian's Life" or a sound of bagpipe;). It gives me a boost!!!Just to cycle while heavy raining and smile to a stranger who is also soaking wet. Just to smile to boorish shop assistant. Just to manage all the obstacles of everyday life...
Listen. You can't blame yourself for all the evil of this world. You can't "punish" you like that! It doesn't change anything. There is potential in YOU. You need to see it! You can change it. It's a challange. But it needs an action. Like in ManyWay's song: IT'S IN YOUR HANDS JUST TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!, remember? YOU are the warrior of this times...

this is the song for you, someday I'll sing it to you... By the way do you like Jacque Brel? He's written such beautiful songs...

Streets Of London

Have you seen the old man
In the closed down market
Kicking up the papers with his worn out shoes
In his eyes you see no pride
And held loosely at his side
Yesterday's paper, telling yesterday's news.

So how can you tell me you're lonely
And say for you that the sun don't shine
Let me take you by the hand
And lead you through the streets of London
I'll show you something
To make you change your mind.

Have you seen the old girl
Who walks the streets of London
Dirt in her hair and her clothes in rags
She's no time for talking
She just keeps right on walking
Carrying her home in two carrier bags.

So how can you tell me you're lonely
And say for you that the sun don't shine
Let me take you by the hand
And lead you through the streets of London
I'll show you something
To make you change your mind.

In the all night cafe at a quarter past eleven
The same old man sitting there on his own
Looking at the world over the rim of his teacup
Each tea lasts an hour, and he wanders home alone.

So how can you tell me that you're lonely
And say for you that the sun don't shine
Let me take you by the hand
And lead you through the streets of London
I'll show you something
To make you change your mind.

Have you seen the old man
Outside the seaman's mission
Memory fading with the medal ribbons that he wears
In our winter city the rain cries a little pity
For one more forgotten hero
And a world that doesn't care.

So how can you tell me you're lonely
And say for you that the sun don't shine
Let me take you by the hand
And lead you through the streets of London
I'll show you something
To make you change your mind.
